Sometimes there are things you can't see with the naked eye, but that doesn't mean they don't exist. There are things that sound awkward and uncomfortable, so we choose silence. Sometimes we are too naked to be in a crowd, so we choose solitude. Sometimes there is a lack of peace, so we choose to hide in nature. You don't want to scream today more than ever. To shock. To scare To provoke. Today, we want to continue the language that was started to be spoken long ago, but too quietly. Today we want to strengthen each other, but sometimes we get scared. We don't know how and we are still searching... And sometimes very little is enough: to hear that you are not alone. That you are bigger than big, and your strength is to accept yourself when you're weak, disappointed, when you lost faith. And… We push away pity, we cry out for understanding. Consciousness. Support. Openness. Devotion and Love. Human to human.
Site-specific performances are created by professional performing artists together with people with disabilities. The project is part of the "Inclusive Performing Arts Platform" project of the Kaunas City Chamber Theater and Kaunas State University Kaunas European Capital of Culture 2022, the purpose of which is to gather the experience of people with disabilities and artists in creating artistic performances on a professional stage with different performing arts professionals. The project is financed by the Lithuanian Culture Council and the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Lithuania.
